He's developed a sixth sense, he fancies, for when she's about to do something mad and reckless - not that he's ever able to stop her, of course; heavens no. He couldn't and he wouldn't when they were small, and he can't and he won't now. Still, he always tries to be there - to clean up, to comfort, just to witness. He does love her madness even now.
